Then screw plasterboard to the wooden battens in such a way that they are decoupled from the wall and floor, i. that is, the plasterboard wall does not touch the surrounding ones walls nor the ground. Finally, rubber or silicone joints are attached to prevent the transmission of vibrations. You should leave about 1-2 cm between the original wall and the plasterboard wall, this increases the insulation effect.
- If the noise comes from the neighbors above you, you should use the for soundproofing ceiling depend. To do this, first create a load-bearing substructure with all-round UD profiles that you attach to the surrounding walls. Then screw so-called direct hangers to the ceiling at a distance of 50 cm and then to the CD profiles. Be sure to work with a spirit level here. Now bring that insulation between the CD profiles and screw the plasterboard to the profiles.
