The Vodafone prepaid card

In addition to mobile phone contracts with a term of 2 years, Vodafone also offers the PrepaidCard for the mobile phone. This is a card for the cell phone that you can top up.

  • To do this, you must first buy a card on which a code is printed. You then have to enter this code using the mobile phone keypad to load the credit onto your prepaid card.
  • There are different prepaid cards for example with 25, - or 50, - €. You can buy these cards in larger supermarkets but also in Vodafone shops. You can also top up your mobile phone here at the ATM.

This is how you unlock the card

Before you can top up this prepaid card or you have to activate it. That means you have to register the card with Vodafone. This card is called the Vodafone CallYa card. To do this, you have to follow a few steps in order to be able to unlock the card:

  1. First of all, you need to open the card registration page. This is done via the page of Vodafone.

  2. This takes you to a Vodafone page, where you have to enter all of your data in order to register.
  3. You must also enter the SIM serial number. This corresponds to the number on the card. This is always 14 digits. You can find the number on the letter you received from Vodafone, above your mobile phone number.
  4. When you have entered everything, click on "Submit" at the bottom. The data is transferred to Vodafone.
  5. There is also the option of a Registration form to use for registration with Vodafone. You have to fill this out and then send it back to Vodafone by fax or post.
  6. Registration then takes 1 to 2 working days.
