SRT files are created by the "Subrip" program. This extracts subtitles from film files and saves them in SRT format.

Convert the file to SUB format

The SUB format is also intended for storing subtitles. SUB files contain more information than files saved in SRT format and thus offer more options for displaying the respective subtitle text.

  1. To be able to convert an SRT file into SUB format, you need the "Txt2Vobsub" program. Download it from the official homepage Txt2Vobsub down. To do this, click on one of the download links given (Hotfile, DespositFiles or TrustFM).
  2. Since the program does not require installation, you can simply double-click it to open it after downloading it.
  3. Now import your SRT file. To do this, click on the "Load Srt, Txt" button at the top left.
  4. Select the file you want.
  5. Now you can optionally make a few more settings. This includes, for example, the colors of text and outlines. You can edit these under "Colors".

Finally, to convert the SRT file into a SUB file, just click on the "Generate Vobsub" button and the new format will be created.
