How to make a scent tree yourself

Bad smells are easy to develop in tight spaces. A scent tree helps to counteract this. This is not only a great accessory for your own car, but also a great gift for friends who are able to drive.

1. First, buy a piece from the craft store felt. Pick a color that goes with your car.
2. At home, cut out the desired motif. This can either be a tree or a completely different figure. Also animals, letters or Stars are great to hang up and are a great alternative to the obligatory Christmas tree. Do it the way you like it best.
3. Now cut a small hole in the top of your figure with a pair of pointed scissors. You can attach a pretty ribbon to it, which you can use to hang up your scented tree.
4. Now you can get an essential oil from the health food store. Lemon smells particularly fresh. Choose the fragrance that you like best. You can of course also use your favorite perfume.

5. Finally, put a few drops of the oil on your felt scented tree. But be economical: the oils have a very strong smell. After all, it should only give off a light scent from the tree that you make yourself.
6. Your fragrance tree is now ready and can be attached to the car. In order to have a permanently fresh smell, simply put the essential oil in the glove compartment. So you can sprinkle your tree over and over again if necessary.
