What you need:

  • OSB panel
  • Afford
  • Screw clamps
  • Bat
  • hammer
  • Jigsaw
  • Folding rule
  • pencil
  • Parquet joint glue
  • Cordless screwdriver
  • Screws
  • Picture hanger
  • Transition profiles
  • Installation glue

This must be taken into account when mounting on the wall

You can Laminate do not just stick or nail to the wall. This would create a problem with mold. One Assembly on battens is hardly possible because it is difficult to attach the laminate to the battens. Therefore, this method is preferable:

  1. Get an OSB panel the same size as the area you want to clad. If you want to cover an entire wall, it makes sense to split the panels.
  2. Screw some battens onto the panels. Install them offset, because with the slats you ensure that air can circulate behind the panels.

When the laminate is mounted on the panels, you can hang it on the wall as easily as a picture.

Mount the laminate on the panels

  1. If you need several panels for a wall, you have to measure them precisely because the last row must be flush with the tongue so that you will not see any transitions on the wall later. A vertical seam can hardly be avoided when dividing.
  2. Laying laminate on PVC - this must be observed

If you want to lay laminate on PVC, you should consider a few things. It would be ...

  3. Place the plate horizontally on the floor. Secure the first row of floor boards with screw clamps. The groove may protrude a few millimeters over the edge of the plate.
  4. Now lay row by row as usual. Think about the offset per row. Knock the rows together firmly. Glue the joints with parquet joint glue. Lay the boards so that they protrude to the right and left. This cannot be avoided by the offset.
  5. When the area is covered, let the glue dry. Then lift the floor boards off the panel. Apply a few strands of assembly adhesive to the OSB board perpendicular to the course of the boards. Lay the floor boards firmly connected to one another by the grout on the plate. Press the composite on.
  6. Wait 24 hours. Cut the edges of the staggered laminate boards flush with the board. Attach the plate to the wall.
  7. If necessary, cover transitions with appropriate profiles.
