Go to a download in Firefox

Each download is recorded in a separate list in the Firefox browser.

• You will see this list in a window that appears at the bottom of the system tray as soon as a download has started.
• You can also open the list later at any time using the "Extras" menu item and the "Downloads" command. Or you choose the key combination "CTRL + J".

Information in the Firefox list

The following information about the files and programs is displayed in the download window:

• The icon of the program (e.g. B. Word or PDF), the name of the file or program and the memory size.

• With a double click you open a file or call the installation window for a program directly from the download list. You can then save the download to a specific location on your computer.
• If it is not possible to open it directly, right-click on the download and select the command "copy download link" and paste the copied address into the address field of Firefox a.

Edit download list in Firefox

• If a large number of downloads are recorded in the window, you can use the "search window" at the bottom right to find a specific download.
• If you have already saved all downloads, you should delete the list. All you have to do is click the "Empty list" button.
• If you only want to delete a specific download, right-click it and select the "Remove from list" command in the context menu.
