However, care should be taken to leave areas white in this second run. However, if there are too large, single-colored fields here and there, simply dab white paint on them with a sponge. After this step, it is important that you step back a little from the wall and check that the patterns look balanced.

  • The baking paper is now required for the last work step in the marbling technique. To do this, tear off a small line and place it on the dabbed wall. Now use the natural sponge dipped in ocher to mark a vein along the tear-off line. This process is now repeated a few times. The edges of the veins that are too sharp are smeared with a water-soaked sponge.
