Design the walls yourself in the children's room with coloring templates
Especially in the children's room you want to create a colorful and friendly space for the little ones. You can use wonderful coloring pages for this - and the little ones will also be happy to actively participate!
What you need:
- Coloring pages
- colored pencils
- pencil
- Foils (A4)
- Foil pen
- Overhead projector
- Wall paints
Art made easy in the nursery
Of course, you could let the little ones design the coloring pages and then simply attach them to the wall. But if you want to design the children's room with a beautiful wall painting, this is also easier than you might think.
- Give the kids a few templates to choose from that you, too, can live with as they decorate the wall.
- The little ones can now decide on one (or several templates, if required) and color them in with the crayons.
Bring coloring pages to the wall
- You can now easily transfer the outlines of the finished coloring pages onto a foil by placing the foil on the template and simply tracing along the lines.
- You can very likely easily borrow an overhead projector at short notice from a local school. It doesn't cost anything to ask! Otherwise, these are already loaned out by the hour in some hardware stores.
- Now place the film with the outline on the projector and align the image on the wall so that you like the position.
- Leave the projector on and lightly trace the outline on the wall with the pencil.
- When you're done, you can fill in the coloring page on the nursery wall in the colors the kids picked out beforehand.
- Tip: In addition, trace the lines of the template with a thin brush and black wall paint to create contours.
