  • Chinch cable

Enjoy the LCD with your ears

Most LCD televisions do not manage to convince the viewer with their sound while watching TV.

This is due to the very poor speakers. Due to the very flat design of the television sets, the boxes of the LCD television do not have enough resonance space to reproduce all frequencies in a clearly audible manner. That of course minimizes the cinema feeling at home immensely. It's good that you can counteract this in several ways:

  • On the one hand, there would of course be the purchase of a Dolby Surround system. However, these are expensive and the installation is usually very complex, depending on how the speaker cables have to be laid.
  • It is more advisable to connect your LCD television to your stereo system.

Connect the television to the AUX system

In many cases, this can be done in just a few simple steps:

Connect the iPod in the car - this is how it works

If you too would like to hear your favorite music in the car, but don't know how ...

  1. First you have to find out whether your stereo system has a free AUX input.
  2. If so, all you need is a stereo chinch cable. You can get this in any electronics store or on the Internet. Before doing this, measure the distance from the LCD television to the AUX system so that you know how long it is cable must have. The longer the cable, the larger its cross-section must be.
  3. Connect the cable to the AUX output on the LCD TV. This usually consists of a red and a white chinch socket. When connecting, make sure that the colors of the cable plugs match the color of the sockets. If there is a black plug on the cable, this must be connected to the white socket.
  4. Lay the cable according to your needs. The need here depends on whether the cable should be visible or hidden. The second variant may require a few more meters of cable.
  5. Now all you have to do is connect the cable to the AUX system and you can enjoy films with good picture and sound quality.
