Defeat dragons in Skyrim

After a short playing time you will meet your first dragon in Skyrim. But do not worry, with a little practice you will quickly cope with these monsters and can absorb their dragon souls.

• Go to Jarl von Weißlauf and talk to him about what happened in Helgen. After a short time you will be given the task of traveling to the western watchtower with one of the Jarl's raiders. A dragon is said to hang around there and attack the watchtower.
• When fighting the dragon, you should make sure that you are not standing directly in front of its muzzle, otherwise it could catch you and throw you through the air. Then of course you'd be dead instantly.
• As a magician, you should use double destruction magic and keep your distance. Timing your magic attacks so that any ghosts of fire from the dragon are immediately interrupted. Depending on the type of kite and its resistance to fire, lightning or ice, you should choose your destruction spell.

• As a warrior you can use the dragon fall scream in the fight against a dragon, which you will receive in the further course of the main quest and which forces the dragon to the ground.

• After killing the first dragon, you will keep encountering dragons on the map.

Take in the dragon soul

1. After killing the dragon, you need to get very close to the dragon.
2. Now the message "Dragon soul accepted" should appear and a certain one music sound. The Whiterun guards are amazed that it is now clear that you are a Dragonborn.
3. Now go to Screams in the magic menu, then you can use the captured dragon souls to activate individual words of a scream. You have to use the word somewhere beforehand, e.g. B. in a dragon shrine.

As you can see, it's not that difficult to defeat dragons in Skyrim and use their souls. Just follow the guide above and everything will work fine.
