- First of all, you need to find out why Firefox is not playing YouTube videos. The most common reason is the lack of Adobe Flash player. You should then install it.
- To do this, you should use the Flash player directly from your Firefox browser Adobe download and install. It is of no use to you if you downloaded the Flash player with a different browser.
- If Firefox still does not play YouTube videos after this, it may be due to incorrect security settings.

- You should first check whether JavaScript is enabled. To do this, under “Extras” you have to select “Settings” and then “Content”. Here you can see whether there is a tick in front of "Activate JavaScript". If this is not the case, you should check the box there.

- If Firefox still doesn't play YouTube videos, the NoScript add-on could be to blame. This add-on prevents active content from being displayed in Firefox.
- In that case you have to repeat the YouTube page and click on the NoScript symbol at the bottom right of the browser. A small notification window will then open in which you click on “allow youtube.com”.
- Then click again on the NoScript symbol and then select "Allow ytimg.com".
- Then Firefox will play all YouTube videos again.
