Do you work for eBay and eBay asks you to enter your customer number when making payments? If you don't know them, you can find the customer number in your personal account.

When eBay needs the customer number

  • eBay only assigns a customer number if you also sell items on eBay.
  • If you are only a buyer on eBay then you will only be recognized by your eBay name and yours e-mailAddress identified. You then have no customer number.
  • eBay only requires a customer number if there are problems paying your seller invoice. As soon as you list items for sale, a listing fee is due. This is how you can find out your customer number

  1. Call eBay on.
  2. Log in - as usual - with your eBay user and password. If you have several valid users, make sure that you take the user for whom you are looking for the customer number.

  4. Now click once on the "Member account" tab with the left mouse button. Your account overview will appear stating which payments are still open.   5. Select an invoice and open it by clicking once on the desired month with the left mouse button and then confirming the command "Go" with the mouse.
  6. Your invoice will be called up on the screen and you will find your eBay customer number in the top right corner. It is best to copy them directly and keep them safe.
