The Senseo is now one of the most popular and common coffee machines. It makes one or two cups and is easy to use and also very quick. You can also vary, because there are many different flavors of the coffee pods required for this.

That's how fast the Senseo works

  1. First insert one or two coffee pods, close firmly and switch on. The water is heated up. The Senseo flashes slowly.
  2. If it's lit all the time, it's ready. Press the head for the appropriate number of cups.
  3. The brewing process runs and exactly the desired amount of hot water flows through and fills your coffee cups with fragrant pleasure. It flashes slowly again.
  4. The Senseo suddenly flashes quickly despite the water in it. What's happening?

Check this if it flashes despite the water

  1. Usually your machine only flashes quickly when there is not enough water in it. That said, check the water level again anyway. Even a little is not enough, it must be filled at least up to the "MIN" mark.
  2. Check whether the water tank is properly seated, otherwise it will flash quickly even in spite of the water.
  3. It doesn't happen that often, but the ambient temperature is also crucial for the Senseo to function properly. It must be at least 10 ° Celsius.
  4. It is also unlikely that you are at an altitude of more than 2200 meters. The device does not work here either.
  5. You should also go to safety try to carry out the descaling process according to your description. This may be the reason why no more water will flow through and the machine thinks it is empty.

If none of this helps and the Senseo still flashes quickly despite the water, then there is probably a technical defect and you should have it checked in a specialist workshop.
