New DMAX not found
Since the analogue satellite television has been switched off, the frequencies of many stations have changed and must be tuned in again. If you have not yet found the new DMAX transmission slot, there may be various reasons.
New frequency from DMAX
- Normally, you can easily find the new DMAX broadcasting slot using the automatic search function on your receiver. This option can be found quickly in the main menu of almost all devices. Let the search run through completely so that all stations can be found. Then save the changes to the stations, otherwise the data could be lost.
- If DMAX is not displayed during the search, you can also start a manual search. You can also find this option in the menu of your receiver. Then enter the satellite 19.2 ° East ASTRA 1, the frequency 12,480 MHz and the symbol rate 27,500 with vertical polarization. You should not then interrupt this search either and save the stations found.
Nothing found despite search
- If you cannot find the new DMAX broadcasting slot despite the automatic and manual search, this may be due to the external weather conditions. In this case, try a new search when the weather is clear, as reception can be disturbed, especially in stormy weather.
- If you have further problems with the DMAX search, it can of course also be a technical problem with your receiver or your satellite dish. If you cannot check that the devices are working properly on your own, you should contact your local dealer to check that your devices are working correctly.
