How to remove wallpaper stickers without leaving any residue
Removing wallpaper stickers from the wall works in a similar way to removing stickers from the car:
- First of all, you should carefully peel the edges off the wall. Use a narrow spatula or, if the wall is particularly sensitive, tweezers. You can also peel off the wallpaper with your fingernails - but this can damage your nails.
- Now take a hair dryer and carefully warm the wallpaper sticker to the lowest heat setting. To do this, move the hair dryer up and down the wall sticker about ten centimeters away until the surface of the sticker feels warm and a little soft.
- Now it's time to pull it off. Start on one of the sides - left, right, top or bottom - and carefully peel off that side first. Then take the sticker in both hands and carefully pull in the same direction.
- If you feel any resistance, stop pulling and warm the wallpaper sticker one more time with the hairdryer. If the wall is very insensitive, you can carefully push against it with the spatula in such cases.
- Carefully pull on until the wall sticker has completely peeled off - and there is already space for new decoration.
