Senseo coffee machines were the first machines with a pad system. In the meantime, the preparation of coffee in portions has taken on enormous proportions. The HD 7810 model is one of the very popular machines.

The name Senseo is familiar to most coffee lovers.

  • Since 2002, coffee drinkers in Germany have been able to make their drink with the Senseo coffee pad system. The Dutch electronics company Philips and the Dutch coffee roaster Douwe Egberts are behind the brand name.
  • Both companies cooperated to develop a system that can be used to prepare coffee in portions. The result was one coffee machine from Philips, in which coffee pods from Douwe Egberts can be placed. In the meantime, however, other manufacturers have also developed pads that fit into the machines.

The HD 7810 model

There are different models of Senseo coffee machines, some of which only differ in color, but some of which can also do different things.

  • First of all, there are machines that only allow you to make coffee, then those that allow you to make latte macchiato, café latte and cappuccino, and Finally, there are the Senseo Quadrante machines, also suitable for making coffee, but different from the more well-known rounded square machines Shape.

  • With the shapely model HD 7810 for coffee, reminiscent of a curved pipe, you can also brew two cups of coffee at the same time, which takes less than a minute. Depending on your requirements, you can choose from different colors, for example black or white-orange.
  • The model's water tank is removable and holds three quarters of a liter. After an hour, the machine will turn off automatically in case you forget to turn it off.
  • The operation is very simple, you only have to fill the water tank, insert a pad and press the power button. Cleaning is also straightforward. You can take apart the individual parts - there are seven in total and clean them that way. However, it is not possible to flexibly adjust the height of the coffee spout.

The HD 7810 model is therefore for people who prefer coffee to cappuccino, café latte and latte macchiato and who do not want to spend too much time making coffee.
