Everything that has to do with language already fascinated me in my school days - reading as well as writing essays and learning foreign languages. At the university it went on accordingly. I studied English, German and communication studies and also spent a year abroad in Great Britain. For 20 years I have been working as a freelance journalist and author with a focus on culture and social issues. In addition, I am busy with everyday life as a mother and family organizer. If I still have time, I read (across the board and, if you don't, for hours) and love going to the theater with passion.

Reason for my choice of topic

Whether highly intellectual or entertaining (ideally both in one) - culture is one of my special topics. I am particularly fond of literature and theater, but also dance, musicals, cabaret and comedy. Since the birth of our son, who is now in elementary school, I've also been interested in everything to do with family and children, both professionally and privately. As an enterprising team of three, we also appreciate the small and large breaks from everyday life. At the weekend we like to make child-friendly excursions and short trips. Otherwise, we are regularly drawn further away during the holidays, preferably to an island - from A for the Azores to Z for Cyprus. Travel is therefore one of my favorite subjects.
