Measure the ring finger correctly

The easiest way to measure the correct size of your finger is if you already own a ring that fits snugly on your ring finger.

• The correct ring size depends on the diameter of your ring finger or the diameter of a suitable ring, measured in millimeters. So that the diameter of the ring can be measured exactly at the widest point. You can use a very simple trick.
• Use a knife with a rather narrow blade and hold it in an upright position away from you. Now hang the ring on the tip of the knife. From the knife blade you can now see a line in the ring. This line corresponds to the correct diameter.
• Take a ruler and place it on the line. You need to measure the ring diameter with the ruler as accurately as possible. You only have to multiply the diameter by 3.14 and you have the right size for your ring finger.

Another method of finding the correct ring size

If you don't have a suitable ring, there is another way to find the right ring size.

• To do this, take narrow tape and wrap it around your ring finger twice. Make sure that the fit is good, but not too tight. Then carefully cut the tape with scissors.
• Use a ruler to measure the tape from one end to the other, the resulting value corresponds to your exact ring size.
