Drain the fuel by the suction method

  • With the suction method, a transparent hose should be bought from the hardware store so that the path of the gasoline can be followed better. Because now you need to stick one end of the hose into your car's gasoline tank. Slowly but firmly push the hose into the tank until it hits the bottom of the tank.

  • Now it should be quick. Take the hose out of your mouth immediately, otherwise you could swallow the fuel.

Drain through drain plug

  • If, on the other hand, you are lucky enough to have a drain plug under the tank on your car, all you need is a container that you place under the tank and unscrew the screw. This variant is safer if there is a drain plug.
  • If draining the fuel is not essential to the car, leave it to the auto mechanic or other professional. Care should also be taken to protect the environment.
