• In the converted energy If a very large proportion is lost, only around 40 percent of the energy is available in the practice as heating. The remaining energy is simply lost as waste heat. With gas heating, around 90 percent of the converted energy is used as heating, the loss of waste heat is only ten percent. This big difference is very noticeable in your annual utility bill.
• Heating with current is therefore not only more expensive than gas, but also costs more than an oil heater. When making your decision, you should of course mainly consider the costs, but you should not neglect environmental friendliness either. At this point there is also a major difference between the two heating systems. Burning gas or oil emits only half as much CO2 on average as electric heating.
