- The amount of pointed cabbage and red cabbage is intended for 4 people. When you have all the ingredients together, you can start making the coleslaw.
- In a saucepan with hot water first give the pointed cabbage and let it steep for about 5 minutes. Then take it out and remove the first leaves that can be peeled off. Then repeat this process until you have removed all the leaves.
- Use the same method for red cabbage. This has the advantage that the herb is no longer as hard, but still has a certain bite.
- Then cut the cabbage leaves into thin strips and put everything in a bowl. Add the salt and sugar and mix everything together very well. Let that salad now draw for about half an hour.
- In the meantime, take a pan and let the cubes of bacon rest for approx. Fry lightly for 1 minute and add these and the caraway seeds to the salad immediately and mix everything again very well.
- Of water, vinegar, Rapeseed oil and pepper you now make a marinade. Of course, you can also change the specified amounts, according to your taste.
- Now add this marinade to your coleslaw and mix everything together again. The coleslaw should now sit well for about 2 hours, then it can be consumed.
