Books that lead through the plot like a labyrinth, where the reader can decide for themselves how to proceed, you can also write yourself. It's actually quite easy. Surprise your loved ones with a book made in-house.
The principle of the "labyrinth" books
- These books begin with a short introductory plot, which ends after a few pages with a decision by the reader. So the reader becomes part of the action.
- The decision is based on the plot of the book. It can be decisions like that someone will be called or that one would rather go shopping, man takes the bus instead of your own car or a search will be in the basement or in the attic began.
- It is easiest for the reader if you write a specific page reference for each action, for example: "Call Ina -> Page 25", "Call Paul -> Page 65". Since you only know the page numbers when the book is completely finished, you can also divide the book into chapters and subdivide subsections, then the instruction is not "Page 25", but from "Chapter 2 Section 3".

- Draw up a storyline that leads to the goal of finding a lost chain, for example. That is, you need an ending story and a path through the other stories that leads to this one. Try to create a somewhat confusing way of doing this. Assuming the chain is in the forest, it should only be found, for example, if the hero gets into the forest under very specific conditions, for example together with his cat.
