Easily make your own ketchup without sugar

Of course, this light version doesn't taste exactly like normal ketchup. The advantage here, however, is that the ingredients can be reduced, increased or expanded depending on the taste.

  1. First give the tomatoes along with the vinegar and the soy sauce in a large saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  2. Stir the mixture well and set the stove to a lower temperature (about half the flame). Now stir in the cornstarch. Finally add salt, pepper, paprika and sweetener.
  3. Be careful with the sweetener! It is best to season several times in between so that the mixture is exactly to taste.
  4. Now let everything boil again. Stir well! Now let the mixture cool down. The low-calorie ketchup without sugar is ready.
