  • If the package is quite bulky, there is a bulky surcharge. Here it is worthwhile to check whether you simply choose a larger package class.
  • If you send the parcel abroad, different tariffs apply than if you only send to Germany.
  • Hermes also has the somewhat cheaper Shop2Shop tariff, which sends the parcel from parcel shop to parcel shop. The recipient of your parcel must then make their way to the Hermes parcel shop to pick up their parcel.

  1. First find out whether you have a Hermes parcel shop near you, or whether you might even have to use the car.
  2. For the first parcel that you send insured with Hermes, fill out the parcel label in the shop, this will save you an unnecessary walk.
