If you have ordered or sent a package via DHL, you will often be given the opportunity to conveniently follow it on a website. In some cases, however, it happens that the status does not change and you get the impression that the delivery is not carried out correctly. Find out here what can be done in such situations.

Check the DHL status correctly

  1. First, rid your browser of any reminders that it may have previously created. To do this, go to the settings and click on "Empty cache". Alternatively, it is possible that the command can also be found via the menu itself.
  2. Switch to the website of DHL and enter the shipment number here under "shipment tracking". You also have the option of entering multiple numbers. Once you have it, click "Find Now".
  3. You can now see the status of the package. If this has not changed despite deleting the cache, follow the next steps. However, wait a few hours beforehand as the driver and package will not be immediately displayed on the website if the status has changed. This takes time.

When data has not changed

  1. After checking the status, contact the recipient by phone. the sender and ask there whether the package has arrived or exactly how and when it was sent.
  2. If you are told here that the package has arrived, you do not need to take any further steps. However, if there is a problem, wait two days and, if the situation has not changed, contact DHL. To do this, switch to Contact page and share your concerns by email or phone.
