- Before you mess up the immobilizer or ruin your old, functioning key as a training model, contact a specialist company. This is mostly a car dealer of your car brand.
- They will order the new key and then teach it to your vehicle. The costs for this special effort are several times higher than for a normal car key. Calculate an amount in the four-digit range if you have such a key copied.
The best thing to do is to take good care of all the keys you have and, on the newer radio models, have the battery changed at every inspection.
