Basically, you have the option of three alternatives:

  1. "Remuneration pays recipient" means for your customer that he can just drop the reply letter into the nearest mailbox without franking and you pay the entire postage.
  2. "Please frank enough" is a request to your customer. Either the customer franked correctly, then you do not have to pay additional postage or he does not frank, then you have to pay the postage in retrospect.

The information that the postage is paid by the recipient must be printed on the reply letter in the upper right quarter of the envelope according to the exact specifications of the Post.

  • As a "postage stamp" you have to print a frame with the dimensions width 15-25 mm and height 17-30 mm. The frame must be printed continuously, a dashed or dotted line is not permitted.
  • The text "Remuneration pays recipient" or "Please frank enough, if stamp at hand" must be printed in the center of the frame. They must describe at least 2 lines and at most 4 lines. The text must not touch the edge of the frame.
  • The following applies to frames and text: only use black color in good print quality.
