Opportunities when your studies have ended

When you have finished your studies, you can face different situations, but there is always a possibility of health insurance.

• Ideally, you will immediately find a job or become a civil servant. In this case, health insurance is also taken care of. Depending on the type of employment and the level of income, you can take out private or statutory insurance. You always have the choice between various statutory health insurance companies.
• Perhaps you want to start your own business immediately after graduating. In that case, you have to take out either statutory or private insurance. • Clarify the tariff at which this health insurance is prepared to insure you for the subsequent period until you start working. In this case, many health insurance companies offer special tariffs that are hardly more expensive than the tariffs that apply to student health insurance.

Shortly before your studies are finished, you have to take action yourself in order to explore the possibilities mentioned and, if possible, use them. Don't just let this come your way, take action.
