No two snowflakes are the same - this also applies to your handicrafts with the children. If there is no snow outside either, you and your children can make a wonderful wintry window in no time.

How to make the snowflakes with children:

  1. Take a piece of paper and cut it so that it is then square. The size of the square is irrelevant.
  2. Now fold your square sheet of paper, corner to corner, so that it is then only half the size.
  3. Now fold it the other way again.
  4. Now fold it so that you get a triangle. If the sheet allows, repeat this step again.
  5. Folding with children - this is how you fold small dogs together

The technique of folding beautiful motifs out of paper without scissors and glue is called ...

  6. Now let your children work on this triangle with scissors. You can simply cut out small triangles or semicircles along the edges. There are no limits to your imagination. It is only important that the folding edge is not completely cut away.
  7. Now unfold your sheet again. Schwups, you have created a beautiful, unique winter decorative element - a snowflake.

If your children want, they can cover the openings that are now in the snowflake with tracing paper. But this is solely a decision of the respective hobbyist. What pleases is beautiful.

How to design a wintry window with the snowflakes:

  • Attach the snowflakes to the window with the adhesive strips so that they are evenly distributed over the entire surface.
  • If you want to give the window an even more wintry look, you can put a cotton swab on the lower frame. So the window appears as if it had been snowing a little longer.
  • You can make thick fluffy snowflakes by shaping small cotton balls and fixing them to the disc with a ring that you have formed from adhesive tape.

No matter what it looks like outside - just build your own winter at the window and spend a few nice hours with your children doing handicrafts.
