Instructions for Christmas arrangements

Place the Christmas arrangements on a particularly beautiful plate or a tree slice, then they really come into their own!

  1. First you need a dry dry sponge that you cut to a length of approx. Cut 10 cm to size. Use a hot glue gun to glue the sponge to the edge of a plate.
  2. Start by tucking the fir branches into the sponge. Small, thin Nordmann firs or other noble firs, which look particularly beautiful and last a long time, are suitable for this.
  3. Only cut off the tips of a large fir branch, where 2 fir branches extend outwards. Insert larger pieces of fir into the sponge at the bottom and smaller pieces above. You need approx. 3 layers on top of each other.
  4. Before you put the fir trees in the sponge, you have to cut the needles over a length of approx. Remove 4 cm.
  5. Make Christmas arrangements yourself

Christmas arrangements spread a pleasant Christmas mood even before the festival ...

  6. Press a candle holder into the top of the sponge. To hide the transition between the fir tree and the candle holder, stick artificial moss around it. With the Christmas arrangements, you can let the moss run down on one side to the pine tops.
  7. You can decoratively spice up a single-colored, simple candle: Put tiny decorative stones (e. B. gold-colored) in a flat vessel. Spray the candles on the lower edge with hairspray and roll them in the decorative stones. Then fix the stones by spraying another layer of hairspray or clear lacquer.

Distribute decorative stones on the plate or place an additional figure on top!

Decoration proposal with balls

  1. There are various ways to decorate the Christmas arrangements: B. three small Christmas tree balls with wire that you pull through the hanging loops and press into the sponge.
  2. Align the balls to form a triangle. You can glue three small loops all around and also place an angel figure on the arrangement.
  3. Also spread some angel hair on the Christmas arrangements.

Beautify arrangements with natural materials

You can collect natural materials such as cones, beechnuts or acorns in the forest all year round and do not need to buy them separately.

  1. Glue 2 dried orange slices on each of the Christmas arrangements and glue a beechnut or an acorn directly next to them. You can glue star anise onto the orange slices themselves
  2. Christmas ornaments made of thin birch wood are very popular, such as Stars, Fir trees or bells. You can place these ornaments on the arrangements
  3. Small pine cones and intersecting cinnamon sticks with which you can decorate the arrangements are just as beautiful.
