VIDEO: Create a creative invitation for the Christmas party
The first thing to do is to have all the material you need for the invitation ready. It should be an invitation in the form of a package. The dimensions will be 10 cm wide and 15 cm high.
Crafting the invitation
- So that the invitation for the Christmas party looks like an open package, first cut two pieces of construction paper to the size of 15 cm by 10 cm.
- Then take one of the two pieces of paper and mark a margin of 2 cm on three sides on the front. Now cut these three sides with a sharp object, e .g. a knife until you have cut through the construction paper. This works best if you use an old wooden board as a base
- Now you glue this paper precisely onto the other piece. If you move the cut piece up, it will look like you are opening a package.

- Write your text for the invitation to the Christmas party on the inside of the package.
- You design the outer part of the invitation according to your ideas. You can use pens or paint for this, or if you want to make it easy for yourself, use stickers.
- The last step is to cut a piece of bow ribbon. With a pointed object, you make a small hole in the hinged part and in the lower part of the invitation card, pull the ribbon through and tie it like a parcel. Your invitation for the Christmas party is now ready.
