What you need:

  • Recipe for two people:
  • 600 g broccoli
  • 125 g of cream
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped walnuts
  • 40 g sheep cheese
  • salt
  • pepper

Broccoli is very healthy and a wonderful slimming agent. Unfortunately, it can quickly turn yellow if stored incorrectly.

  • Usually the broccoli should be kept in the vegetable drawer of the refrigerator. Here the broccoli stays crisp longer and does not turn yellow as quickly.
  • However, if you have areas that are yellowish, you do not have to dispose of the broccoli immediately. You can simply cut away the areas that are yellowish. Although the areas on the broccoli are not poisonous, they are withered and taste bland.
  • If your broccoli is completely yellowish, the only thing that will help is to dispose of it.

This is how a broccoli and sheep cheese casserole works

  1. If you have yellowish spots on your broccoli, cut them off first. You can then wash the broccoli and separate the small florets.

  5. You can chop the walnuts and add them to the cream. Keep stirring well until the cheese has melted. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  6. Then fill a baking dish with the broccoli florets. Add the cream with the melted feta cheese so that the broccoli is well covered with the cream.
  7. At 180 ° the casserole stays in the oven until the cheese has turned golden brown.

Then take that Casserole and sprinkle with chives. A delicious casserole with broccoli and sheep cheese is ready.
