Send a video by message

  5. At the very bottom you will now find a text field in which you can enter your message. To send a video, you need to click on "Add files". Select the video you want from your hard drive and click "Open" to confirm.
  6. The video is now uploading, which may take a few minutes. Note that the file size is limited to 25 MB.
  7. After the upload is complete, click the "Send" button to send the video to Facebook.
  8. The relevant contact can then download the video themselves in the "Messages" area.

Save a video in the photo album on Facebook and share it

If you want to send large video files, you can upload them to a photo album and then share them.

  1. To do this, go to the "Photos" section. At the top right of the page, click Add Video. Next, click the "Select a video file to upload" button.
  2. Now you can select the video you want on your hard drive and click "Open" to confirm. The advantage here is that it is possible to upload files larger than 25 MB. The length of the video is only limited to 20 minutes.
  3. Wait until the upload has finished. In the meantime you can enter details about the video and choose with whom you want to share it.
  4. Once you've set everything up, all you have to do is click "Post" to send the video to Facebook.
