You can produce food for blackbirds relatively quickly and cheaply.

Alternatively, you can put apple wedges and the grain mixture loosely in the bird feeder and add raisins and oatmeal.

Oat flakes for wintering the blackbirds

  1. Melt margarine and add raisins and oatmeal to it. By the way: 250 grams of margarine, 100 grams of raisins and half a kilo of oat flakes are enough for the whole winter.
  2. Fill this into baking cups and then hang it up in the branches. So you have made food for the blackbirds and other birds cheaply and quickly.
