Return worn clothes?
You can return worn clothing if it has a defect. On the other hand, if the clothes have not been worn, you can send them back without having to give any reason. You have a right of withdrawal for distance contracts.

In these cases, the seller cannot turn you away and claim that you have already worn the clothing because the goods have a material defect.
How to return worn clothes
- You can only return worn clothing if you can show some kind of proof of purchase. The receipt is usually used for this purpose. If you no longer have the receipt, you can provide proof in another way, e.g. B. by having a person present at the time of purchase testify that you made the purchase.
- If you have received the goods via means of distance communication, such as B. Bought internet, phone so you can cancel your purchase. For this purpose, the goods do not have to show any defects. You don't even have to give a reason for your revocation. If you have tried on the goods, this does not conflict with your legally guaranteed right of withdrawal. Cancel the purchase by returning the goods to the seller or by declaring your cancellation in writing. The purchase will then be processed back.
- If there is a material defect, because e.g. B. If the fabric is worn or the seams come undone, you can exchange the goods. It is completely irrelevant that it is about worn clothing. The seller must take back the goods because of the material defect. Either he will give you an item of clothing of the same value and without any material defects, and if he no longer has any, he will refund the purchase price.
