What is a femboy?
The word "femboy" is a composition of the two words "fem" and "boy" and thus includes the female and the male side. The word part "Fem" comes from the English "female". "Boy" is the English word for "boy". The term is now also used in German, but more so in the younger generation.
A "femboy" refers to a person who is biologically male but likes to play with female attributes. These men like to wear clothing that looks feminine, which doesn't have to be skirts and dresses, but often soft fabrics and colors. These "femboys" like to use female perfumes and like to adopt typical female behavior and, if necessary, hairstyles.
Nowadays, "femboy" is used more for younger men up to about 30, increasingly accepted by the growing tolerance in society towards different gender orientations and identities.
How is the expression used?
"Femboy" can be used affectionately as well as pejoratively. Here there is the problem of demarcating other groups of people, such as homosexuals, crossdressers, lady boys or trans people. Most "femboys" are not gay, nor are they trans people. Crossdressers just like to dress like the opposite sex from time to time. There are also women who like to dress like men but don't want to be a man.
In the anthropomorphic realm of art, literature or the Story if these transitions are fluid, there are no borders. Today, "femboys" are featured in furry art, manga, and anime.
Interestingly, "femboys" see their way of expressing themselves in most cases as a limited phase of their lives, which usually ends at the age of 30. There are now several communities in which these young men can exchange ideas.

It can be assumed that there have been "femboys" throughout human history, but it was not socially possible to live like this, let alone communicate with like-minded people. Because of the internet, that is now worldwide possible and you can, at least in Germany, express themselves increasingly freely and stand by them.
You should always try to live and let live, as long as you don't harm anyone. Everyone should be allowed to dress as he or she likes.
