How many driving lessons for the driver's license?
If you want to get a driver's license, you're probably wondering how many driving lessons you have to complete in order to get an idea of the costs involved. There are clear differences here with regard to the federal states, their regulations and the prices of the individual driving schools themselves.
Driving license: How many hours are required (theory / practice)?
If you have registered with a driving school and paid the fees, you can start with the theory lessons straight away. There are 14 different units of 90 minutes each in the theoretical lessons. Can you repeat the exam? How often?
If you don't pass an exam, you can repeat it after at least two weeks, but then you have to pay the exam fees again. There is the possibility of shortening the deadline, then you can repeat the theoretical test three days later and the practical test 7 days later. If you fail the exam three times, you have to wait three months before you can try again. You then have three attempts to pass the exam.
If you fail the practical test for the sixth time, you have to go MPU (medical psychological examination), this order is issued by the driving license authority, which wants to determine whether you are suitable for driving on the road.
