- You should also wrap the pasta well so that it doesn't go bad too quickly. Noodles lying around can attract moisture, dust and Mould start or possibly attract vermin.
- Whether you keep the pasta in a freezer bag, jar, or plastic box is not particularly important. Above all, it is important that you can close the container tightly.
- However, if you want to store the pasta for a particularly long time, you should make sure that you store the pasta in a place that is not too light.

Pasta is bad - spot the signs
However, you should not simply prepare pasta that has been stored for a long time without hesitation, but first check that it has not become bad over time.
- Take a close look at the pasta. If you see traces of mold, for example, do not consume it.
- But other discolorations also indicate that the pasta is no longer good.
- You should also smell the pasta very carefully. If you smell a putrid, pungent or simply strange smell, the noodles are better off in the trash can than in the saucepan.
