Sow forget-me-nots correctly - this is how the plants become vigorous

You should sow forget-me-nots with flower seeds directly in the desired location in the garden. The best sowing time is between June and mid / end of July.

  1. You can recognize the forget-me-not by the typical 5-petalled blue flowers that have a small, spherical, yellow pistil in the middle.
  2. After 4 - 6 weeks you should prick out the plants, i. H. pull out the weakest young plants.

  • However, too much moisture and moisture can at the same time also cause the plants to mold and rot, or they can mildew to lead.
  • You should protect young plants from frost in the first winter. A cover with leaves and twigs is sufficient for this.
  • In general, the forget-me-not likes the penumbra. Then with good care it can grow up to 40 cm high.
