VIDEO: Make bath foam yourself

The basic recipe for bath foam
- First, pour the specified amounts of water and unscented shampoo into a mixing bowl.
- Then mix both thoroughly with a wooden spoon, so that you get a homogeneous mass. When mixing, be careful not to produce too much foam. You should therefore work more slowly and with extensive movements.
- When the water and shampoo are uniformly mixed, add the table salt.
- You now have to stir this in again. You can observe that the previously rather liquid consistency of the bath additive is getting thicker and thicker.
- If the mixture has reached a nice and creamy state after a while, the additive for bath foam is basically ready.

- If you would like to make a colorful bath foam yourself that children especially like, just give one Pour food coloring of your choice into the mixed bath additive before you mix everything well again.
- For an aromatic bath foam, add about three to seven drops of an essential oil to the bath additive, which of course then has to be stirred in thoroughly.
- You can also mix somewhat coarser glitter particles into the bath additive. These are sometimes a little more difficult to remove from the bathtub later and also have to be thoroughly showered by the body, but give the feeling of a royal bubble bath.
By the way: To store the bath additive, you can simply use a jam jar that can be screwed on and that you have washed thoroughly beforehand.
