This is how you can hide new friends

  • The first way to hide new friends is to remove them afterwards. If you accept a friend invitation, the message "xxx and xxx are now friends" will be displayed on the Facebook page.
  • One way to hide this is to go to your page and hover your mouse pointer over this message. An "x" then appears there. Click here on "remove". You have already removed new friends.

Another possibility to make friends invisible

  1. Log in to Facebook. Click on the arrow in the blue bar at the top right.
  2. Choose here privacySettings.
  3. At the top, click Edit Your profile".
  4. Click on "Friends and Family" in the bar on the left.
  5. Click on the arrow next to it to the right of "Friends" below.
  6. Select "just me" here.
