Find out your password under Google Chrome

  1. start Google Chrome and open the settings, which you can find in the top right above the wrench almost at the bottom.
  2. Then click on the "Show advanced settings ..." link at the bottom of your settings.
  3. Then scroll down to "Passwords and Forms" and click a little further down on "Manage Saved Passwords".
  4. Now enter "Facebook" or "www.facebook" in the top right corner.
  5. To the right of your user name, click on the asterisks and then finally on "Show" in order to have the password read out.

Read out Facebook password with Firefox

  1. Start Mozilla Firefox and press the Alt key, which is only necessary under Windows Vista and Windows 7 to display the top menu.
  2. Then click on "Settings" under "Tools" and switch to "Security".
  3. Click the "Saved Passwords" button in the middle right.
  4. Enter "Facebook" at the top, then click on "Show passwords" at the bottom right and confirm this with "Yes".

Show the password under Opera

With Opera you cannot read the password directly, but you can do this quickly and easily with the free software OperaPassView that you don't even have to install.

  1. To do this, go to the freeware website and click almost at the bottom on "Download OperaPassView".
  2. Open the ZIP file with a double click.
  3. Then start the EXE file "OperaPassView".
  4. Now look for the entry "www.facebook". You can also click on "Find" under "Edit" or click on "Find". Press Ctrl + F and then enter "facebook" as a search term.

You will then see the password saved for Facebook in the "Password" column.
