If you look into your Facebook chronicle, you can see somewhere in the distance the entry "Has joined Facebook" with the corresponding date of entry. If you want to hide this information, you can do this in just a few steps.

Get rid of "Joined Facebook"

  1. Log in to Facebook and then click on your username in the top left. This should be right next to your user picture.
  2. Scroll all the way down the page. Don't be surprised that when you get down there, new elements are loaded. Your goal is to get to the very day on which you can see the entry "Joined Facebook". If you have been active on the platform for several years, a lot has probably accumulated accordingly.
  3. Go to the entry with the mouse and then click on the downward pointing arrow in the upper right corner. In the menu that appears you can select "Remove from history".

It is important to understand that Facebook in no way deletes the information, but merely sets it to "hide" as desired. The entry could still appear in other places.
