This is how you mix simple green

  1. Get a water paint box and a tube of opaque white for your experiment. Also, have a piece of paper and a pen handy. So you can note the mixing ratios so that you can reproduce them later with real wall paint. Too stupid if you hit your dream tone but no longer know how to mix it up.
  2. Now that you've made the preparations, start mixing. Green is mixed with yellow and blue. Try to use both colors equally, which means that you do not use more yellow or more blue water color.
  3. The resulting green is the basic color, which you can now vary as you wish.

How to vary the color

  • Turquoise - mix color

If you want to be artistically active and paint, then of course you need ...

  • If, on the other hand, the basic color is too light for your taste, you can make it appear darker. This works by carefully adding black.
  • If the normal green seems too warm and too friendly to you, you can increase the amount of blue. The resulting blue-green looks cooler.
  • You can also mix in more yellow color in the same way. The green becomes stronger the more yellow you add in.
  • Try olive too. One of the reasons why olive is used as a camouflage color is that this shade has little luminosity and is therefore hardly noticeable. This color is created by mixing the brown color into the green.

Experiment until you find the perfect color for you. Have lots of fun with it!
