Ravensburger painting by numbers: reorder colors
The Ravensburger company offers u. a. the product "Painting by Numbers". Here everyone can become an artist and create beautiful pictures. But where can you reorder colors if necessary?

- When you buy one of the paint-by-numbers pictures from Ravensburger, you will usually receive a set that consists of the picture to be filled in and the paints and brushes you need. In the picture with a white background there are lines that form different shapes.
- There are numbers in these shapes. These refer to the numbers that you also see on the paint pots. This shows which color should be used for which shape.
- Sometimes there are letters in the fields. In this case, the instructions enclosed with the set will tell you which shades you should mix together for this field and then use.
- The pictures are available in different levels of difficulty to buy. On the one hand there are pictures for children in different age groups, on the other hand there are pictures for adults.
Problems with the colors
If you have started painting, but then paused for a longer period of time, the Colours dry out - even if you have closed the paint pots. Depending on how much time has passed, the color may or may not still be saved.

- If it is only slightly thickened, it is usually enough to add a few drops of water to the paint pot. This does not impair the quality either, since the thinner in Ravensburger products is usually water anyway. This has easily evaporated, which has led to the thickening of the paint.
- If the paint has dried out completely, if you have accidentally mixed it with another paint, or if it is simply not enough, you can reorder the paint pots.
This is how re-ordering works
- The company offers one for this case Order form on his website. Select the option "Game parts" under the point "Questions about". The "Please select" field will then appear underneath. Here again you scroll down to the letter "F" and select the item "Color".
- Enter your personal data and, in any case, in the "Your message" field, the numbers of the color shades you require. Then follow the further instructions.
It can happen that the colors you want are no longer available and you can therefore not reorder them. This is where a craft store may be able to help. If possible, take the dried up or almost empty paint pots with you and see if there are exactly these colors or similar ones in the shop.
