  • Once you've cleaned your upholstered couch thoroughly, you will find that it will get dirty again much faster. The fibers lack the impregnation because it was removed during the cleaning operation. So dirt now penetrates the fiber immediately and is much more difficult to remove. A superficial impregnation can help here.
  • Thoroughly clean your couch set before waterproofing it. Impregnants are available in every drugstore, but they are expensive. That's why the couch should of course look perfect afterwards. Anyone who has not cleaned thoroughly will be annoyed later.
  • A spray vacuum cleaner is suitable for cleaning, as you can borrow it at any time in drugstores and hardware stores. Such a device wets the upholstery surface with cleaning fluid and immediately sucks it up again with the detached dirt particles, so that the pad overall only slightly moistened.
  • Now apply the impregnation with the spray bottle over a large area of ​​the upholstery. It initially remains on the surface as a thin film that is only slowly absorbed. The contents of a spray bottle are sufficient to treat entire living spaces.

  • Let the impregnation agent dry completely before using the upholstered furniture again.
  • Liquids and crumbs that were previously drawn into the fibers immediately can now be dabbed on or brushed off without leaving a stain.
  • In order to maintain the protective layer continuously, the impregnation should be refreshed at least once a year, preferably every six months.
