- Exfoliating once a week will help remove any remaining skin. Cream your face with only a fluid or cooling gel, if at all. Under no circumstances should you use heavily oily creams.
- Against an oily face, rubbing the skin with diluted lemon juice or vinegar, which is recommended once a week, also helps.
- When applying make-up, you shouldn't use liquid creams, but a mattifying powder.
- When you are out and about, it is best to get absorbent grease towels for your face. You can find these in drug stores. They soak up the greasy film on the face so that they stop shining for a few hours.
- Avoid touching or scratching your face more often during the day. This not only stimulates the production of talc, but also spreads bacteria on the skin.
