Full screen mode is a great option in the Mozilla Firefox browser for viewing streams or reading larger text documents. You don't have to be a great computer expert to turn this mode on or off. There are basically two methods of doing this, both can be done in a very short time and with no more than two mouse or key clicks. If you follow these instructions, it should be child's play for you to switch full screen mode on and off again in the future.

How to close the full screen 

  • There are two different ways to turn on full screen mode for the Firefox browser. The first option is to click on "Firefox" in the upper left corner and activate this mode by clicking on "Full Screen".
  • The second possibility is a very mundane one. Simply click on the "F11" key when you are on the website that you want to view in full screen mode and the full screen will start in the Firefox browser.

There are also two different procedures for closing the full screen. It does not matter which method you used to get to the full screen. This means that both methods work, regardless of whether you entered the mode by clicking on "Full Screen" or by pressing the "F11" key.

Return Firefox to normal mode
