Tame ocelot in Minecraft
In the open world game Minecraft you control your avatar through individually created worlds and can, among other things, erect buildings, collect raw materials or fight monsters. If you feel lonely in the game, you can even get a pet. Many of the animals in Minecraft, such as the ocelot, are quite easy to tame.
Minecraft even has ocelots
- In the big game worlds of Minecraft live numerous animals and monsters. These NPCs (are from computer controlled) appear at random places in the game world and are either peaceful or hostile. While you attack the monsters immediately, most "nice" animals, such as cows or sheep, remain peaceful, but they can also be attacked. With the right approach, however, you can also tame many of the animals and thus get a loyal companion for your avatar in Minecraft.
- The ocelot is a very rare animal and spawns (appears) in a jungle biome and at various levels of difficulty. You will see these animals in the Minecraft worlds much less often than pigs, sheep or chickens. Ocelots are also very shy animals and flee as soon as you approach them. Of course, this makes taming a lot harder. However, with the right resources, you will soon have such a pet.
- As a pet, the ocelot has a very important function because it can teleport itself on the one hand and protect you from the dangerous creepers in Minecraft on the other. As soon as a creeper approaches the ocelot or you, it will not attack you but will go away on its own.
How to tame the rare animal
- You need the right food for every animal. Ocelots prefer to eat raw fish and this is the first thing you should collect with your avatar in Minecraft. It's best to find a small lake and throw out your fishing rods and you'll get raw fish.
- Now look for an ocelot and the best way to do this is to go to Minecraft's jungle biome. Once you've found one of these rare animals, approach them very slowly.
- In no case do not run and approach the ocelot carefully. In any case, keep a certain distance. If you are close enough, you can pick up the raw fish and right-click to feed the ocelot and thus tame it.
- Once the rare animal has been tamed, it turns into a cat and will be with you every step of the way in Minecraft in the future.
