- To make your own depilatory cream, first mix the sugar, lemon juice and water together.
- Now heat this porridge and cook it until the color changes to a light yellow or golden tone.
- Now take the pot off the stove and let this do-it-yourself hair removal cream cool down to 36 to 40 degrees Celsius.
- Please be sure to use this do-it-yourself depilatory cream too hot to avoid getting burned. Preferably use a thermometer.

Halawa is used like warm wax
- Once the correct temperature is reached, use a spatula to apply the do-it-yourself depilatory cream to the areas you want to depilate.
- Then press the strips of cotton cloth onto it.
- Then pull as quickly as possible and as flat as possible against the direction of growth of the hair the strips off your skin.
- In order to avoid the painful feeling that can arise, but also to avoid reddening, hold the treated area under running cold water.
- You can also use cooling pads or a cooling gel after using the do-it-yourself depilatory cream.
- Aloe vera gel, which you have preferably stored in the refrigerator, is very suitable for this.
- Do not use alcohol-containing creams afterwards.
It is best to use this do-it-yourself depilatory cream in the evening to allow the skin to recover overnight.
